The Special Park Improvement District is one of many special zoning districts in New York City. Special Districts have additional zoning requirements otherwise not stipulated in the Zoning Resolution specific only to those locations.

The Special Park Improvement District covers the area of Park Ave from East 60th st to East 96th st and 5th Avenue along Central Park.

In this special district the maximum FAR or Floor Area Ratio is 10. Floor Area Bonuses are not allowed.
