Use Group 13 NYC Open Amusement Zoning
The NYC Zoning Resolution has Use Groups to categorize buildings based on their use. NYC Zoning Use Group 13 is mostly open entertainment uses and some retail uses.
Zoning NYC Use Group 13
Certificate Of Occupancy for Use Group 13
Use Groups are listed on the Certificate Of Occupancy for a building. Use Group 13 has four categories. A Certificate Of Occupancy or CO for Use Group 13 would identify the use of spaces as:
Use Group 13A Amusement Establishments
- Overnight Camps or outdoor day camps
- Children’s amusement parks with a zoning lot up to 10,000 square feet
- Circuses, carnivals or fairs
- Commercial beaches or swimming pools
- Golf driving ranges
- Miniature golf courses
- Outdoor roller skating rinks
- Outdoor skateboard parks up to 2 acres
- Outdoor skating rinks
Use Group 13B Retail
Use Group 13B consists of certain retail uses.
- Banquet halls
- Drive in refreshment stands
Use Group 13C
Use Group 13C is for Boat Fuel Sales
Use Group 13D
Use Group 13D is for accessory uses to the other uses in Group 13.
Where Can You Build Use Group 13 in NYC?
Commercial Zoning Districts
You can develop Use Group 13 in certain commercial districts in NYC:
- C7 Commercial Amusement
- C8 General Service
Manufacturing Zoning Districts
Manufacturing Zones allow for Use Group 13
